Current Exhibitions

Two Treasure Valley art groups—Treasure Valley Artists Alliance and the Nampa Art Collective—have collaborated to bring the public a unique exhibition with the theme of the recent total eclipse, which occurred in August 2017.

This collaboration has three (3) parts; an Online Exhibition and two (2) Physical Shows:

Together in the Dark is an exhibition of art reflecting on the Great American Eclipse of 2017, features art works from thirty-eight artists, from across the country–South Carolina to Oregon–each with a unique vision of a common experience.

The Together in the Dark Online Exhibition is a collaboration of the Treasure Valley Artists’ Alliance and the Nampa Art Collective and supported in part by the Idaho Commission on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The Nampa Art Collective is a group of artists, business owners, and art-loving community members who are dedicated to creating and facilitating art and culture in our city. The Nampa Art Collective encourages the energy, freshness, and expressiveness of contemporary art.

The NAC provides visual art at the Civic Center, exhibitions of local artists’ work, with new installations every quarter.

The NAC values education in the arts. The public is invited to join the NAC at art exhibitions, attend workshops and Artist Talks, and socialize at regularly scheduled Art Mingles—open to artists as well as art lovers. The NAC provides opportunities to experience the particulars of exhibiting artwork; facilitates workshops for all levels covering mediums, techniques, and providing inspiration; and builds community by interacting with the public and speaking about our work.

Since 2012, The Nampa Art Collective has brought artists and the community together. We cross cultures and cross mediums. We are both emerging and established. We have an array of backgrounds and accomplishments. We paint murals and throw pottery. We build sculpture and community. We paint watercolors and word collages. We create installation and capture images. We are an array of entities that form a band of not only colors, but of diversity.
